The classes will be held every Saturday for 6 weeks. Through this course students will learn taekwondo skills which they can use for the rest of their lives. Anybody who is over the age of 5 and under the age of 13 can join!
Course Descriptions:
- Beginner Course: In this course we will be learning basic taekwondo moves and different types of kicks and punches. Along with this, we will be learning some basic taekwondo forms! Forms are a series of movements where we can showcase different taekwondo moves. We will also be doing some basic self defense strategies. Finally, in this course there will be a lot of stretching, yoga, and simple workouts that we can all do together!
- Advanced Course: In this course we will learn more advanced forms of taekwondo and review some of the forms in the beginner class. Forms are a series of movements where we can showcase different taekwondo moves. Like the beginner course we will be stretching and doing yoga, but we will do more advanced workouts.

Timings:
- Beginner Course: 4-4:40 PM on Saturday
- Advanced Course: 6-6:40 PM on Saturday
Materials:
- Everyone should come in workout or yoga attire. This should include leggings or sweatpants! Along with this, you should wear a loose fitted , half sleeve T-shirt so that you don’t get hot too easily.
- By your side, you should have a water bottle.
- A piece of paper or a notebook is optional to write down the different types of movements or forms you learn.
- These materials are for both courses, beginners and intermediate!
- Lastly, make sure you have an open space to show me your defense techniques!
More about the course:
- This class will be taking place through Zoom.
- The class will go on for 40 minutes.
- Before the class a link will be sent out, where you can join this class.
- Make sure to join the zoom class 5 minutes before it starts to make sure you are ready and everything works!
- Each week we will learn something different and we will keep working on lessons from the previous weeks!
