Week 1 + Week 2:
These first two weeks students will learn the basics of spanish. We will cover the Spanish alphabet and sounds, pronunciation, accent marks, simple words, and numbers. At the end of the session, students will have the alphabet and numbers from 1-10 memorized. They will also fully understand the structure of the language and know the meanings of some simple words.
Week 3 + Week 4:
In these weeks students will build on what they know. We will cover more vocabulary (food, rooms in a house, etc.), learn numbers up to 30, colors, days of the weeks, months, and we will learn how to speak more advanced conversations. By the end of the course, students should be comfortable using Spanish words in daily life and should be familiar with basic Spanish concepts.
Age limit: 5-10 years old
Materials:
- For this class you will need a notebook or something to write on as well as a pencil and eraser.
